because (anucu) I should (he should) not (rAdu) (rAdanucu) get associated (cEra) with evil-some (durAtmulagu) savages (kirAtakula) on the Earth (bhU);
O Beautiful (sundara) Figure (AkAra) (sundarAkAra)! O Supreme Lord (parAtpara) (literally beyond everything)! O Virtuous One (su-guNa)!
O Sweet-spoken like nectar! O Moon faced!

Variations - (Pathanthara)
3 – durAtmulagu – durAtmulaku. In my opinion, since the word ‘durAtmulu’ qualifies ‘kirAtakulu’, it should be ‘durAtmulagu’; it has accordingly been adopted. With ‘ka’ sound, the caraNa does not make sense.
